Something About Poker

hmmmm, what can I say about this Card Game addiction I am in right now.... It's a whole lot of fun, It's a mind game just like playing chess , and it has no age limit. A kid can bust you out off the table having a 6-7 off suit hand , and the flop is 4-5-A-3-K, bustin out your A-K

I can just say that someones poker play is not judged by your physical appearance, it's on the way you play your hand and the way you conserve all your chips up to the final table, or what we call the money table.....

Last Saturday.... June 7, 2008 was a good pleasant night, I'm on a good mood that I entered on a $8 tournament in Players den Malate Manila..... there was up to 70 players( 7 tables ) I played real hard to get back my money or win big..... it's a $1,200 tournament.... my fave hand(A-A) tripled my chips and I conserved it up to the final 2 tables..... then this is what happened to me..... there were just the 12 of us.... my patience gone so cold, I could'nt have waited for my good hand, then suddenly I have an A-K(off suit ), my chip stack is the 2nd largest stack on our table...... suddenly someone pushed his chips all-in!(the chip leader) what would I do?!!!! I called, stupidly, not knowing that we are just 12 and I can't just wait for the final table......

the Dealer said, show hands plz..... my opponent hastedly showed the bullets (A-A) like what daughtry said ( I'm going home ) the flop was x-x-x-A-x, I can't really remember the other cards shown but I remembered that I did'nt hitted any Kings on the flop.....

I went downstairs to tell my uncle what happened , and got home..... on the car we are talking about my hand and my opponents hand..... my uncle said, " your push was in a right decission " bad thing is I have no money for the next few days..... I can't sleep that night.... it was 3 to 5 days of a bad appettite and a bad sleep, having some flash backs on what happened.....

this is what I just said to my self, at least next time, I can fold those A-K(offsuit) that's the lesson

My New Rock Band (Shade Underground)

I really love music specially, "Rock". New Found Glory Band is our fave band, that's why we practice their songs and chords to be like them. And we are converting some classic songs to rock, even pop music like "Stars are Blind by Paris Hilton". Every Saturday, we are visiting the Band Rehersal Studio and practice for 1 hour, after the long weekdays of practicing the chords and the drum beats of the song.

The name of our band came from? hmmm, actually almost all of us in the band are Online Gamers. We play Flyff Online and our other bandmate Kemi is playing Audition Online. The word shade came from the server we our playing in Flyff while Underground came from the place in Audition where Kemi our lead guitarist is always playing.

We are only 4 in the band. The Vocalist & Rhythm (Tyler), the Lead Guitarist (Kemi), Bass (Sobon), Drums (me, Zero,Enzo). We play our role having codenames just like in online games.

The starting point of our band was a success. It started just 3 weeks ago and maybe we have completed 8 songs. We hope to join more Battle of the Band contests and find a good manager. Our dream is to record our composed songs and videos. Who does'nt want to be just like Saosin, New Found Glory,Chicosci, The used etc. ? every rock music lovers dream to be a good recording musician.

Prayers from our supporters and Guidance from God is what we are hoping. And we must be not just be buzy in our band, we must be doing our first priorities. Education and Work.

A Job for an 18 years Old Begginer

Now, I'm planning to apply my skills on a good job at malls. I wish that I can take advantage on my new skills that I can learn on public jobs rather than taking more advantage on my earnings. Having a job at the first time feels like uneasy, but some say that I can get used to it.

They said some beginners just have luck, and some just lose jobs. But a job must be done seriously and accurate. Your Boss is in control of everything that you do , so you must do it seriously. It's just like making your grades in school, the more you study the more you get more grades.

The time pass by more faster when you just concentrate on your work. I tried working on my uncles business. I always notice the clock is going more slower when I look at it often. I started not looking at it and I would'nt even notice that the time passed more faster. And at the same time I'm doing my job continuesly.

Tomorrow, me and my friend will prepare a good Resume, and we will try to apply at the nearest mall. Working is a good priority in life anyone must do. Imagine, when all the legal aged people work, then no one could be hungry. Work must be an Instinct.

The Gold Mine

Becoming rich is'nt easy says my dad, you got to dig deep, explore, hunt and do all your best to find your way to your precious needs.
Like a Treasure Hunter, they study about where they should find treasures and they travel long distances to reach there dreams. This story is not literally about treasure hunting, it is just how my dad explain it.

My grandfather started hunting treasures way back 1970's, my grandfather had worked so hard to help his Family lift up from being poor. They don't have any good food to eat, sometimes it's just sweet potatoes that their craving for and they always have credits on the stores near them, at least. Every 3 to 7 months is my Grandpa's duty to his work before he will come back to his family. My Grandfather is a painter, he paint Houses, Ships and etc. It was really a talent we had learned from him.
My father is always a topnotcher on his school from Elementary to Highschool. And when he stepped in college at University of the East, he was one of the good Directors, Math Genius and Everything. Infact, my dad was kicked out, why? a Leakage he had done.Almost everyone in sectionA 2nd year college had passed the examinations, some of them had perfect scores. But, My dad did'nt admit it, he said that sectionA was the highest section in 2nd year college, they sure can get get high grades? " How can I do something like that if I was on sectionD ? But the truth is, my dad really did it, he tell that story to us laughing. He can get a perfect score on Mapua's entrance exam, but this University was greedy, they just qualify those poeple who only have money. How can my dad pay something if they don't even have something to eat?

Back to my grandpa's journey. My grandfather had discovered something that can make money, it's air ventilation, and he just started to cope on this idea when he just worked a contract on an Air Ventilation company. He was qualified to that work because he can paint accurately with the use of Spray paint.
They started a business like this with the help of my father and my Engineer uncle. My father can't and did'nt continue his college studies because of managing and helping my granfather's business. The business was a big success, and it helped almost all of our family stand up from poverty. Our fabricated items has a very good quality, and our customers flooded us with too many projects.

My grandpa bought Houses and Cars. He expanded our family business, and up to now, even if he had already died, we continue it. And now, me and my brothers and sisters are studying to continue this to the next generation.
My grandpa digged using shovel, he was helped by my father with my uncles and aunties. The next day, they bought a Driller machine to build a Gold Mine. On the very next day, the Gold Mine was a very big success. Now, we will just try to continue it by exploring deeper to our Gold mines and find Gold.

Still God holds the most refined Gold of all, had the most Shiny pearls and had the most Sparkling Diamond ever.
